Schooled in kindness

Pashupati, 35, from Mahendranagar, worked as a helper in a school in Dahisar near Mumbai for three years. The teachers, peons and other co-workers at the school were good to her, and they had good times, often going on picnics and outings. The Principal even helped her son with his medical treatment. She had to return to Mahendranagar for family reasons, but needs to keep going back to India for her son’s treatment.

“Pashupati, don’t worry about the child. Get him treated. I’ll send the money tomorrow.”
